What do you think about the incel community?

Mon May 27, 2019 6:19 pm

Definitions
First of all, what do we mean by incel? The widespread use of the term is fairly new, but the concept has been around for awhile. Back in the PUA era, when people in the manosphere thought of an "incel" they pictured a guy who didn't know any game, and probably hadn't stylemaxxed yet. Now that men are more game-aware, and lookism has become such a big deal, when people think "incel" they usually picture a guy with a really ugly face (even though a lot of the original PUA gurus were short, bald, ugly dudes; in fact, one of their major selling points was that their training supposedly could get ANY guy laid).

The broadest definition of an incel is that it's anyone who temporarily or permanently can't get laid without raping a girl or paying an escort. Thus, for example, if your wife just had a kid, and you're waiting for her perineum to heal; or if you're stuck in traffic on your way to your girlfriend's house to pin her ankles behind her ears and smash her cervix, you might be a "tempcel" (temporary incel). Some in the incelosphere would object to this, and say that you're only an incel if you're a "truecel," i.e. a guy who under no possible circumstances will ever get laid. I.e., you're a guy who's going to be a KHHV (kissless, hugless, hand-holdingless virgin) for life.

In practice, though, the incelosphere consists mostly of youngcels (teenagers, college students, and others who haven't had a chance yet to betabuxx for some pussy, and perhaps lack favorable logistics), and MGTOWs (guys who got pussy in the past but now are divorced and/or unemployed men with slim to no easily realizable romantic prospects). The number of hideously ugly men in the incelosphere is low, as many who pretended to be such were later revealed to be fakecels, i.e. men larping as extremely ugly men; some of these were actually chadlite-tier, it turned out.

Communities
One of the main schisms in the manosphere is between the game-focused and politics-focused manospherians. The game-focused guys just want to stack paper and bang hotties, and regard the politics-focused guys as idle complainers and game-naive incels. The politics-focused guys regard the game-focused guys as hedonists who are just "enjoying the decline" rather than putting in work to save society.

Not all incels are political, though; nor are all political manospherians incel. The incel community split off from the rest of the manosphere because incels wanted a place to discuss their "copes" (i.e. activities they engage in to make the best of their incel lives), and the blackpill (i.e. the hopelessness of their situation) without being judged for not doing more to improve themselves and their game so they could get pussy.

With Roosh essentially becoming a religioncel (i.e. a man who either goes religious because of his celibacy, or celibate because of his religion), the schism has deepened. Probably few RVFers are religious married men, and it's been pointed out that modern marriage is a scam in western countries, so it seems likely that the community will go in a more incel direction.

Meanwhile, the rest of the incelosphere has not held up well against the waves of censorship with which it has been hit. In 2017, r/Incels was banned and the community never totally recovered. Some users went to r/braincels, which along with r/TheRedPill was quarantined in 2018. Others went to Incels.me (now Incels.co), which after the Toronto van attack in 2018 became nationally famous but also had to make concessions to the censors, eliminating violent (e.g. pro-rape and pro-mass killing) rhetoric. In 2019, the moderation at Incels.co became totally abysmal, with many high-quality users getting banned.

Meanwhile, there has been some talk of femcels and incels, which are generally women in their 20s and 30s who have not settled down with a husband and kids yet, but say they would like to. More on that later.

Purposes
One possible purpose of the incelosphere which seemed promising was that it could be a more radicalized group of men than the rest of the manosphere. This gets back to the schism mentioned above, between big ballers and incels. The "big ballers" are reluctant sometimes to admit their failures; while the "incels" often don't want to admit their successes, lest they be kicked out of the incelosphere for not being incel enough. But there are many men in between KHHV and big baller, who don't really fit in anywhere; e.g. the nearcels who have had some romantic successes, but not any longer.

Meeting in person, or becoming a public figure, could be threatening to both some big ballers, and some incels, due to the threat of (1) having one's claims on the forums be debunked, and (2) getting doxxed. But as long as these communities remain anonymous and online-only, it may be hard to go to the next level of collaboration, organization, etc.

I've met some incels in the past year. My reading is that they are very low-energy low-T people who just don't really want sex or girls all that much. When they say they want sex or girls, they don't really mean it. It's like me saying I want a Ferrari. Sure, if it fell out of the sky into my lap, I'd take it, and enjoy it, but I don't REALLY want it because if I really wanted it I wouldn't be home today reading Leibniz, I would be out there hustling to make the money to get it.

I think the incels say they want girls and sex more out of peer pressure than anything else. Since everyone around them seems to want these things, they just go with the flow and say they want them too. But when you tell them to do 1, 2, 3 steps to get girls, they do nothing. Or they try for a week, and then give up.

The media and the PUAsphere like to portray incels as sad, but the ones I met were not sad at all. I mean, when I was 14 I was "incel" too--we all were--but since I'd never had sex or female companionship, I had no idea what I was missing. So I was fully happy with my sports and games and studies, and my life was missing nothing. Once I got my first taste of sex at 17, all this changed, and once I got my first love affair, right after, things changed even more, and now if you told me that I'd never taste these fruits again I'd get depressed.

See, the thing with incels, as I realized, is that, no matter their age, they're still children. Sex is one of the ways in which a boy matures into a man, and the incels have never had that. Then earning a woman's love and seeing her get hooked on you, and learning to love her back and protect her, is another huge masculine coming-of-age experience. Suddenly, you go from a kid who is dependent on others to having someone who looks up to you and whom you must defend. The sex is part of that, but the relationship is 1000x more significant. So even if the incel manages to get sex somehow, he still hasn't had the real thing. FFS most of them live with their parents into middle age. They are children in practically every metric that exists. Their emotional world is shallow as a child's. And just as a child throws a temper tantrum and cries for a minute when it doesn't get its way, and then practically forgets it, and is suddenly happy again and busy with its toys, so it is with the incels. They can't be hurt deeply because there's no depth to them because they never matured by bonding with anyone (not even with male friends, since most of them are friendless).

That's why, though before I met these guys, I was concerned about them and about incels in general, because like the PUAs I had been projecting the feelings I would have had if I was incel into them, I am no longer concerned. If they want girls, the info is out there exactly how to get them. So if they are not getting them, nor even TRYING to do so, I know they don't want them and are happy doing whatever other things they enjoy doing.

As a 15-year-old, I felt tormented by unfufilled sexual desire, and then as I got to be an older teen and hung out more with friends who had girlfriends, I felt even worse to hear their stories of happy sexual and romantic experiences; plus it was depressing to be the third wheel sometimes when it was me and a friend and his girlfriend. Normally when you socialize with a guy and his girlfriend, you bring your own girl there so she has a girl to talk to.

By the time I was 19, and a university student, I was thoroughly depressed with this state of affairs, but finally I got a girlfriend, which was greatly helpful to my confidence and self-esteem. As Roosh pointed out, though, in one of his vids, if you're a college guy with a girlfriend, that may be the hottest chick you'll ever get with, unless you do approaches (which are hard), since as you get older, you'll have less access to girls in that 18-22 age range. So in retrospect, I kinda wish I'd hung onto that college girlfriend, even though she could be kinda bitchy and crazy, and we might've ended up having a horrible divorce down the road. She at least didn't have a lot of sexual partners before me (basically one random dude she fucked at a party and never saw again, by her account).

I just masturbated a lot and I was fine. Sometimes I'd rent a stack of porn videos and spend hours fapping if no one was at home. That's how I became a sex god who could fuck for six hours straight at 18. Blew all my girlfriends' minds away. Porn and fapping are fantastic tools for a man. It literally taught me how to fuck like a porn star (at university in England I even bought some Porn Star t-shirts that were popular back then with the skate/snow crowd and wore them around campus, I was so cocky it was insane). The no-porn no-fap crowd is again low-energy low-T guys. In their cases, it makes sense to save your libido for when it really counts, but personally I can't even THINK if I am horny and can't get release, and up to my late-30s I was horny twice a day at minimum!
